Services for Indigenous Nations
EmergeRMS’s mission is rooted in advancing reconciliation between Indigenous peoples and Canada. Together with Indigenous peoples, we recognize that Industry has a unique opportunity to be an economic bridge that propels this reconciliation forward.

Ensure Peace of Mind with Regulatory Approved Engagement
The consultation process begins with ensuring all relevant land use regulations and treaty rights are researched and communicated to the industry proponent. We go the extra mile by ensuring cultural elements or other needs unique to the local community are recognized.
The backbone of our consultation process is the Truth and Reconciliation Commission Call to Action #92a: “Commit to meaningful consultation, building respectful relationships, and obtaining the free, prior, and informed consent of Indigenous peoples before proceeding with economic development projects.”

Safekeep Key Landmarks with 3D Mapping Technology
Our advanced, high-resolution, digital scanning technology enables Indigenous Nations to map out areas of importance such as harvesting grounds, medicine plants, traditional and spiritual use areas, and other historic or ecologically significant sites. This empowers communities to protect traditional land and continue time-honored ways of life, while still growing their local economy.
It also provides real-time information for updating the community on the protection of identified traditional use areas during project construction and its ongoing operational life.
The 3D Mapping program provides the Nations with:
- A GIS based system of identification that supports Elder teams with collecting and locating traditional components during assessments
- A confidential, cloud-based digital twin of the proposed project or site with full location tagging ability
- Operational training for the 3D mapping unit
- GIS training for staff on browser and software components
- Access to real-time data through rapid, cloud-based processing—no specialized hardware required
- A 3D mapping unit deployable anywhere by truck, ATV, or in backpack mode
- Results that are downloadable and immediately accessible after mapping

Establish Lasting, Mutually Beneficial Partnerships
We build partnerships that create employment and economic opportunities for Indigenous community members, in alignment with the Truth and Reconciliation Commission Call to Action #92b:
Ensure that Aboriginal peoples have equitable access to jobs, training, and education opportunities in the corporate sector, and that Aboriginal communities gain long-term sustainable benefits from economic development projects.
Once adequate engagement has been done and the industry proponent has received the green light to move forward, EmergeRMS continues to offer support for working with contract service providers.
We help Indigenous communities achieve three goals:
1. Develop successful joint ventures and employment to support the greenlit project.
2. Increase economic and business opportunities related to the project, including Nation-owned business growth, member training, partner investment, and long-term revenue streams.
3. Build strong, equitable partnerships that last and lead to future opportunities.
